The Oyster Perpetual Datejust 36 is available in white gold and Oystersteel , with a mint green dial and a Jubilee bracelet.
Diamond-encrusted outer ring
dazzling embellishment
Like sculptors, gem setters meticulously handcraft the settings for each gemstone using precious metals. With unparalleled precision, each gemstone is precisely aligned and aligned in its place, ensuring it is securely set in a gold or platinum setting.
Besides its meticulous attention to gemstone quality, Rolex also has other stringent requirements for gemstone setting, including the height and precise arrangement, orientation and position of the gemstones, the regularity, strength and proportion of the setting, and the exquisite surface finishing of the metal setting. The watch adds a dazzling touch to the wearer's wrist.
Mint green dial
Tabulation techniques
Many dial models in the Oyster collection feature a sunburst effect, refracting a subtle sheen. This effect requires exceptional brushing techniques to create the engravings that extend outwards from the center of the dial.
The light is diffused along the engravings, creating a subtle and unique effect that displays different luster as the wrist moves. After the sunburst effect is achieved, the dial is colored using physical vapor deposition or electroplating techniques, and finally finished with a gloss varnish.
White Gold Steel
Combining two metals
Gold, bright and noble, is captivating. Steel, incredibly strong and reliable. The two blend harmoniously, cleverly combined with other properties.
The steel and gold finish is a signature feature of Rolex, having been incorporated into Rolex watches since the early 1930s, and officially registered as a trademark in 1933. It is also a prominent characteristic of the Oyster Perpetual series.
Jubilee watch strap
Flexible and comfortable
The design, development, and production processes of Rolex watch straps and buckles, as well as the rigorous testing they undergo, all fully utilize advanced technology.
Like other components of the watch, the bracelet and buckle undergo expert inspection to ensure a flawless finish. This flexible and comfortable five-link Jubilee metal bracelet was specifically designed for the Oyster Perpetual Datejust, which was first introduced in 1945.
